Revenue from fundraising was under the umbrellas of the McCall Community Improvement Corporation. One very successful fundraiser has been the sale of engraved brick pavers through Fundraisers, LTD, in Boise, Idaho. As Centennial Plaza is substantially complete, the Centennial Committee is no longer relying on brick sales to generate revenue for final completion. The Committee voted on June 17, 2015 to turn over the brick sales program to the City of McCall with the funds to be used for ongoing maintenance of Centennial Plaza. Staff recommends the fees that the Centennial Committee charged for bricks and symbols be kept at the same amount for the City brick sales program. In addition, staff recommends that a provision for the restriction of certain text, phrases, and symbols be included in the resolution. Attached is a copy of the current brick order form and the symbols sheets that Fundraisers uses in their brick engraving. RECOMMENDED ACTION: 1. Hold the public hearing 2. Approve Resolution 15-19 adopting fees for the sale of Centennial Plaza brick pavers and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION MEETING DATE ACTION
