A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE FERNWOOD AVENUE (BULLIS ROAD TO HARRIS AVENUE) SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.899, AS BEING COMPLETE;
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF
THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on November 1, 2011, the City Council awarded a contract to CJ
Concrete Construction, Inc. in the amount of $70,435 for the Fernwood Avenue (Bullis
Road to Harris Avenue), Sidewalk Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the project started on November 21, 2011, and was completed on
December 6, 2011, and Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on December
12, 2011 and found that all work was completed in accordance with the contract
requirements; and
WHEREAS, the total construction cost is $70,435.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts The Fernwood
Avenue (Bullis Road to Harris Avenua), Sidewalk Improvement Project, Project No.
4011.67.899 as complete in accordance with contract documents; and, authorizes the
City Engineer to record the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 2012.
