SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall currently does not have a comprehensive parking strategy to address recreational trailers. Boat and snowmobile parking was a predominant topic during the McCall Downtown
Parking Study and Needs Assessment (2009) and recommendations were provided in the study. Similarly, this topic was discussed in the Downtown Master Plan and previous City Council meetings.
The City of McCall Police Chief, Parks and Recreation Director, Public Works Director, and Community Development Director will be present to discuss the issues and recommendations
with the City Council at the work session. Attached is a memo on the topic.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct staff to move forward on a comprehensive parking strategy for recreation trailers within the City of McCall.
