SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Golf Course Advisory Committee (GCAC) requests approval of the McCall City Council to sell and/or raffle twelve (12) life time passes for the McCall Golf Course. Currently
the price of a lifetime pass is $15,000 and the Advisory Committee is asking to lower the price to $10,000.
Life time pass @ $10,000 plus tax.
An annual raffle of 200 tickets @ $50 per ticket.
The $10,000 from the initial raffle would go toward the reconfiguration of the Aspen number one green. The Men’s Association would fund the remaining estimated $11,000 to complete the
green rebuild which would start in October, 2015. Repair and resealing of the cart paths is the number two priority. All funds from the sale of season passes and raffles would funnel
through the McCall Men’s Golf Association and would be used for capital projects. All subsequent projects would be prioritized by a joint consensus of the GCAC, the Women’s Association,
and the Men’s Association.
The raffle winner would be allowed one transfer of the life time pass. The recipient of the transfer must be named prior to the pass being issued. The raffle winner would be responsible
for any income tax liabilities. If the raffle winner has purchased a season pass, they would be entitled to a refund of 50% of the purchase price of that pass.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Golf Men’s Association to sell and/or raffle 12 lifetime passes to fund capital needs at the McCall Golf Course.
