SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The intent of this agenda bill is to request approval of an ordinance to amend Title 8, Chapter 16, Paragraph 3 (H) of McCall City Code. As outlined within the previous agenda bill during
the City Council session on March 26, 2015 the intent of this code amendment is to remove language which allows use of seasonal aircraft tie-down spaces for vehicle parking during summer
months on the airport. Use of these spaces for parking of personal vehicles has been identified as a safety concern by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the 2009 and 2014
airport compliance inspections, and the FAA has directed the airport to resolve this safety concern by finding another location to park these vehicles.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Suspend the rules and read by title only, one time only Ordinance No. ___.
2. Adopt Ordinance No. _____ amending Title 8, Chapter 16, Paragraph 3 (H) of McCall City Code and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
