SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This project is for the annual striping of city streets and crosswalks. This year we still have 16 miles of road to be striped and only the crosswalks on Hwy 55. This year the Streets
Division of Public Works will be doing more street striping, cross walks and symbols since the acquisition of a 2nd street painting machine in FY 13.
Because the cost of this project is less than $50,000, informal bidding was conducted. Bids are due on May 14, 2015.
A complete list of bids received and a recommendation for award of the contract will be made by staff at the City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the contract for the PW15-03 2015 Street Striping contract to ____________ and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
