Pledge of Allegiance Affidavit of Posting Adjustments to the Agenda: None PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: None 1) Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 11, 2013. Recommendation: Approval of the Minutes of June 11, 2013 as presented. Motion by commissioner Bennecke, Seconded by Commissioner Tinker to approve the Minutes as presented. Vote: 410 2) Scheduled Matters/Public Hearings a. Conditional Use Permit No. 13 -CUP -08, Establishment of an In -Home Daycare Facility at an existing residence located at 11238 Bean Street. Applicant: Teresa Navarro Recommendation: Hold a Public Hearing and Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 13 - CUP -08, subject to the conditions of approval. Staff report was given by Chris Tracy, Associate Planner Open Public Hearing 6:10 p.m. Teresa Navarro — Applicant Closed Public Hearing 6:13 p.m. Motion by Commissioner Wirick, Seconded by Commissioner Tinker to add a condition that the item return to the Planning Commission for review in 12 months. Vote: 212 Added condition not approved Motion by Commissioner Wirick, Seconded by Commissioner Bennecke to approve as presented. Vote: 311 (commissioner Tinker voted no) b. O'Reilly Auto Parts — Plot Plan No. 13 -PP -02 and Negative Declaration No. 13 -ND -02 for a proposed 7,927 square foot retail building located on a .937 acre parcel at 695 E. 6th Street (southwest corner of E. 6 Street and Maple Avenue Recommendation: Hold a Public Hearing and Approve Plot Plan No, 13 -PP -02 and Negative Declaration 13 -ND -02 based on the findings and subject to the conditions of approval. Staff report was given by Chris Tracy, Associate Planner Open Public Hearing 6:39 p.m. Applicant Closed Public Hearing 6:41 p.m. Motion by Commissioner Bennecke, Seconded by Commissioner Wirick to approve as presented. Vote: 410 C. Conditional Use Permit No. 12 -CUP -14 and Negative Declaration No. 13 -ND -01 for the construction of a 9,000 square foot church sanctuary and multipurpose building located at 1252 Beaumont Avenue. Applicant: New Creation Church Recommendation: Hold a Public Hearing, Adopt Negative Declaration No. 13 -ND -01, and Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 12 -CUP -14 based on the findings and subject to the conditions of approval.
