SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The library’s former lease has expired. The budget was planned for the new lease and the details have been worked out to save $19.44 monthly by eliminating 2 drawers for oversized paper
that were rarely used during the last lease period. Therefore, we chose to keep the same company, and keep the coin changer that we had for the old copier. The old copier was $117.56
monthly and the new copier will be $98.12 a month, $.0078 for black and white copies and $.0578 for color copies.
The 5-year lease has been approved by Bill Nichols, City Attorney, is supported by the underlying State contract, includes all maintenance, labor, parts, drums, and toner. We supply
only the paper.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the lease with Ricoh and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
