SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The golf course was awarded $35,000 in LOT funds to purchase a used sprayer within FY16. Staff was able to locate and purchase a newer used sprayer at a cost of $15,000 through negotiation
with a local golf course that is updating its equipment. By selling the sprayer to the City of McCall instead of using the equipment as a trade in for the dealer to resale, the golf
course selling the equipment made more money and the City of McCall was able to purchase the sprayer for a much lower cost.
Staff would like to therefore use the remaining FY16 LOT funds allocated to the McCall Golf Course to purchase a used fairway mower to replace a 1996 mower that has had electrical issues
for the past 10 years.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Golf Course’s request to reallocate $20,000 in remaining LOT funds for the acquisition of a used fairway mower.
