SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall received funding through the cultural resources mitigation process required during the replacement of the Lardo Bridge. A portion of the funding is for the design,
fabrication, and installation of two interpretive signs in Rotary Park. One sign will describe the historic evolution of bridges at the river crossing and one sign will be about Idaho
bridge designer, Charles Kyle. An RFQ/RFP process was used to solicit and select qualified consultants to do the work. Two responses were received: 1) TAG Historical Research ($10,880),
and 2) ASM Affiliates ($13,011). City staff and members of the Historic Preservation Commission reviewed the two proposals and recommend contract award to TAG Historical Research.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the contract for the Rotary Park Interpretive Sign project to TAG Historical Research and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
