SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Airport Advisory Committee has completed a review of the Airport Rules and Regulations and is recommending changes. Staff is seeking comment on changes and Council’s input prior
to public comment and drafting an ordinance for the Council’s consideration. Changes include: Definition of drones, hangar sewer connection requirements, new leases, and lease extensions,
through the fence agreements, requirement for FAA environmental process for construction, and hangars proposed for non-aeronautical use. Draft Revisions to Title 8, Chapter 16 is attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide direction and guidance on Airport Rules and Regulations.
