SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Former NASA astronaut Steven R. Swanson will be presenting a talk titled “Living and Working on the International Space Station” at the Airport Open House Saturday July 16, 2016. Steven
R. Swanson has served and inspired his nation and the world as an astronaut with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The attached proclamation declares July 16,
2016 Steven R. Swanson Day in McCall in appreciation for sharing his unique knowledge with the citizens of McCall.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Proclaim July 16, 2016 to be Steven R. Swanson Day in the City of McCall, and authorize the Mayor to sign the proclamation.
