SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the July 28, 2016 Council meeting, staff presented the Golf Course rules and regulations to the Council for review and direction. As the result of the previous meeting and after meeting
with the Golf Course Advisory Committee, it was determined that Council needed to give input and approval of the rules for golfers for what is allowed and or expected at the golf course;
and the rain check/season pass refund policy to cover golfers that do not or cannot finish play or are unable to use their season pass and request a refund.
Attached are the redlined versions and clean copies of the edited Golf Course Rules and Regulations for the Council’s review. After this final review by Council staff will work with
the City’s attorney to draft resolutions to adopt these policies at the next Council Meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Golf Course Advisory Committees recommendation for a rules and rain check policy and direct staff to draft a resolution to adopt said policies at the next meeting.
