SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This agenda bill presents a new long-term agreement for the Streets Department lease of six (6) existing tank cylinders. These cylinders provide Public Works with different types of
industrial gases needed for welding and metal cutting within our maintenance shop. Previously the lease for these tanks has been annual. This new 10 year lease agreement (attached)
provides significant cost savings while also allowing for a cancellation clause. This agreement has been reviewed by legal counsel.
Attached is the 10 year lease agreement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve this 10 year lease agreement, and authorize the mayor to sign all documents.
