SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The existing agreement with Lakeshore Disposal for collection of solid waste prohibits waste collection within commercial, industrial, and manufacturing areas prior to five o’clock (5:00)
A.M. and after nine o’clock (9:00) P.M., but allows the City Council to amend collection times when deemed necessary by the contractor and/or public. On 12 May, 2016 the City Council
approved a six (6)-month trial addendum to this agreement to allow for collection prior to 5 A.M. and after 9 P.M., at the request of Lakeshore Disposal. This trial period was established
to allow for identification of concerns or complaints which could be brought from a change to collection times. To date, there have been no complaints received by Lakeshore Disposal
or the City of McCall within McCall City limits as a result of this change. This agenda bill is to therefore request a subsequent addendum to continue the allowance of collection within
commercial, industrial, and manufacturing areas, including areas adjacent to residential areas, at the discretion of Lakeshore Disposal. The agreement continues to reserve the right
for Council to amend collection times in the future. The term of this addendum matches the term of the exclusive agreement with Lakeshore Disposal.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Addendum #2 to the Agreement for Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste between The City of McCall and Lakeshore Disposal, and authorize the Mayor to sign any and all documents.
