SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The current lease rates for airport hangars were set in 2007 with Resolution 7-12. The Airport Advisory Committee has conducted a review of the rates to include two studies by Valbridge
Property Advisors discussing both a split-rate (separate rates for covered and uncovered ground) and blended rate (single rate for ground whether covered or uncovered). The current
hangar lease rate is a blended rate set at $.35/sq ft annually. The AAC proposed rate is a blended rate of $.25/sq ft annually. The discussion will include information from the appraisals,
financial information on the proposed and current rates, impacts of the proposed rate to airport operations, discussion of current fees, and opportunities for additional airport income.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Request Council provide direction as to hangar lease rates and fees to enable drafting of a new resolution if needed.
