Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Eckhoff and seconded by Van Deest. Motion carried. The treasurer's report was accepted as read. On a motion by Eckhoff and seconded by Freese, the following bills were allowed for payment: Aeilt Terfehn, salary $425.00 Herman DeVries, salary 425.00 John E. Riekena, salary for 3 months 90.00 Henry J. Motion carried. On a motion by Van Deest seconded by Eckhoff, the clerk was directed to deposit $10,000 on a six-month time certificate at the Peoples Savings Bank of Wellsburg. Motion carried. Freese seconded a motion by Eckhoff for adjournment. Minutes of the July meeting were read and approved on a motion by Huisman and seconded by Eckhoff. Motion carried. The treasurer's report was accepted as read.
