The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular session on July 7,
1969, with Mayor Riekena presiding and Councilmen
Van Deest,
Claassen� Eckhoff and:Fr�ese present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a
motion by Eckhoff and seconded by Van Deest. Motion carried.
The treasurer's report was accepted as read.
On a motion by Eckhoff and seconded by Freese, the following
bills were allowed for payment:

On a motion by Freese and seconded by Claassen,
the proposed
budget estimate for 1970 was compiled to be presented for hear-
ing at the next regular council meeting on August
4. Motion
carried.
On a motion by Van Deest seconded by Eckhoff, the clerk was
directed to deposit $10,000 on a six-month time certificate
at the Peoples Savings Bank of Wellsburg. Motion
carried.
Freese seconded a motion by Eckhoff for adjournment. Motion
carried.

Minutes of the July meeting were read and approved on a motion by
Huisman and seconded by Eckhoff. Motion carried.

On a motion by Huisman, seconded by Van Deest the following bills

There being no objectors, the proposed 1970 budget was
adopted on a motion by Claassen & seconded by Eckhoff.
Motion carried.
Eckhoff made a motion for adjournment. Following a second
by Claassen the meeting stood adjourned.
