SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On 2/24/16, Staff presented to City Council a memorandum that provided background information and rationale for recommended modifications to the City’s drainage management guidelines
(DMGs). The proposed modifications will allow for alternative criteria to be used when sizing water quality treatment stormwater facilities as well as redefine the 10 year, 25 year
and 100 year, 24 hour storm depths, based on the complete historical precipitation record for McCall (1917 – 2015).
Staff has also presented this information to the Big Payette Lake Water Quality Council (former WAG) on 12/18/16 and the Valley County Commissioners on 3/14/16. Both agencies provided
their support for the recommended modifications.
Attached to this agenda bill is a resolution, formalizing the proposed and recommended modifications to the DMGs.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 16-10 approving stormwater design criteria modifications to the City of McCall’s drainage management guidelines and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
