SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Arbor Day is celebrated nationally on the last Friday of April however we have the flexibility to designate whichever day we prefer to celebrate it as a community. This year we will
be partnering with Franz Witte Nursery and holding the official Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 30 in the nursery. The event will consist of a celebration of trees with guest
speakers covering topics on Urban Forestry & Management, Nursery & Landscaping, and Natural Resource and Forest Management.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Proclaim April 30, 2016 as Arbor Day in McCall and authorize the Mayor to sign the proclamation.
