SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This project is for crushing approximately 3,500 tons (including delivery) of Type 2 Aggregate. This aggregate will be for the construction of the sub-base course of Park Street. The
City Street Division will perform the construction of this part. The remainder of the project which includes the construction of the base course and asphalt surface of Park Street will
be performed by a private contractor.
A complete list of bids received and a sample copy of the contract is attached. A recommendation for award of contract will be made by staff at the City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the contract for the PW14-03 2014 Gravel Crushing contract to _____________ and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
