SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will replace the North Fork Payette River Bridge (known as the Lardo Bridge) on Highway 55 between The Shore Lodge and Rotary Park utilizing a design-build
contracting method this year. The Cooperative Agreement approved on April 24, 2014 between the state and city outlined the responsibilities and terms of the construction of and improvement
for the new bridge.
ITD has requested the Mayor sign the following documents that are consistent with the Cooperative Agreement:
Donation Letter: intention to donate the permanent easement for bridge structure and sidewalks
Permanent Easement: easement document for the construction and installation of bridge structure and sidewalk in Rotary Park
Right of Way Contract: states there will be no cost to the City of McCall
The documents were distributed to the City Attorney for review prior to the City Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Donation Letter, Permanent Easement and Right-of Way Contract for the SH-55 North Fork Payette River Bridge and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
