SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Lift Station 7 Replacement Project was publicly advertised as required by State Statues. The City received three Pre-Qualification proposals from Granite Excavation, Knife River,
and Irminger Construction. These three contractors also submitted construction bids which were publicly opened on July 31, 2014. The apparent low bidder is Granite Excavation, Inc.
City staff and SPF Water Engineering has reviewed the bid documents and has found them acceptable.
The actual contract language has not been finalized due to language that needs to be included based upon comments from the US Fish & Wildlife Service. The final contract will be reviewed
by the City Attorney prior to signing.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the contract for the City of McCall Lift Station 7 Replacement Project contract to Granite Excavation, Inc. and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
