SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the July 24, 2014 City Council Meeting the Council reviewed a survey conducted online from the City’s website, by downloading a survey from the City’s website, or by picking-up a
hard-copy at City Hall. The survey was made available to the public beginning on Monday, July 16, 2014, until Noon, on July 24, 2014
The Council also reviewed the first draft of the proposed 1% Local Option Sales Tax Ordinance. Council gave feedback to staff on suggested changes to the ordinance. Council also requested
that a Public Forum be held on August 13, 2014 so that comments from the citizens of McCall could be heard and considered when making the final decision on the language for the proposed
ordinance.
Staff requests that Council Review the attached ordinance and give direction to staff for corrections.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct staff to prepare a final ordinance and summary to be adopted at the August 28, 2014 City Council Meeting.
