SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The owner and lessee of Hangar 207, Thomas O. Wooten, has requested an assignment of lease to Thomas Wooten as Trustee of the Wooten Family Trust dated September 4, 2013. The existing
lease was established on April 29, 1991 and was renewed on May 1, 2011. The rental rate for this lease was increased to the current lease rate of $0.35 per square foot with the lease
renewal completed in 2011.
Enclosed with this agenda bill is a copy of the draft lease assignment, applicable exhibits, and the original tenant lease and lease renewal. Pending the Mayor’s approval and signature
of this assignment, the City Clerk will record the document, and keep a copy for the City’s records. A fee of $250 for this assignment process has been requested.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve assignment of the existing lease from Thomas O. Wooten to Thomas Wooten as Trustee of the Wooten Family Trust dated September 4, 2014, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
