SUMMARY STATEMENT:
According to MCC 2.1.70, building codes apply to all areas within the planning jurisdiction of the City of McCall, Idaho. The adopted versions of the codes shall be deemed superseded
by successive versions of such code as they are adopted or approved by the Building Safety Boards of the State of Idaho effective on the date any such codes are made effective by Building
Safety Boards of the State of Idaho. Currently, the City of McCall uses earlier versions of the codes listed.
Attached is an ordinance to adopt new editions of the 2012 International Residential Code, 2012 International Energy Conservation Code, 2012 International Mechanical Code, 2012 International
Fuel Gas Code, 2014 National Electrical Code, and 2012 Idaho State Plumbing Code effective January 1, 2015 as adopted and amended by the State of Idaho or the Building Safety Boards
of the State of Idaho through the negotiated rulemaking process.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Suspend the rules, read by title only, one time only Ordinance No. ____.
Adopt Ordinance No. ____, approve the summary for publication, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
