SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The mission of the Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) to the City of McCall is to identify and
promote a unifying policy of objectives for environmental stewardship and sustainability within the City
of McCall Departments and the community.
The EAC consists of six members serving three year terms, and a high school representative. There are
currently 3 vacancies on the Environmental Advisory Committee and one position for re-appointment.
A request for volunteers for the Environmental Committee was posted in the Star-News. The
Environmental Committee recommends the appointment of Leslie Van Niel, Michael J Everett, and
Krystan Welborn to the Environmental Advisory Committee. Their letters of interest are attached. The
Committee also recommends the re-appointment of Morgan Zedalis. One position will finish a member’s
term to 2015; the others are for 3 year terms.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint the following to the Environmental Advisory Committee to the terms specified:
Leslie Van Niel to a term to expire January, 2015;
Michael J Everett to a term to expire January, 2017,
Morgan Zedalis to a term to expire January, 2017
And Krystan Welborn as the High School representative.
