SUMMARY STATEMENT:
McCall City Code §1-8-2 states that regular Council meetings will be held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each a month except when such regular meetings fall on a legal holiday,
then the meetings would be held on the preceding day unless otherwise fixed by the Council.
In past years the Council has elected to alter the regular Council meetings for the months of October, November, and December to accommodate the holidays and prevent having a regular
meeting 2 consecutive weeks. However, for 2017 the only month that needs to be altered is November. The recommendation is for the regular meetings to be held on the second and fifth
Thursday at 5:30 with the special work session falling on December 1.
With this recommendation there will be an extra week between the first and second meeting in November and avoids a large gap between the last December meeting and the first January meeting.
Attached are the calendar and Resolution.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Resolution 17-01 adopting the McCall City Council Meeting Schedule for 2017 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
