ORDINANCE NO. 3 /.5
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING FOR SALARIES
OF CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BEL
AIRE, KANSAS BY PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A PAY
PLAN FOR THE BEL AIRE POLICE DEPARTMENT BY
RESOLUTION, INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE THE CURRENT
VERSION OF THE "BEL AIRE POLICE DEPARTMENT PAY PLAN"
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER ,1.1//
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1. Adoption of Police Department Pay Plan bv Resolution
For the purpose of establishing and providing salaries of certain officers and
employees of the Bel Aire Police Department, a pay plan for the Bel Aire Police
Department shall be adopted and hereafter amended by resolution of the Governing Body
of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas. The pay plan shall be entitled the "Bel Aire Police
Department Pay Plan".
Section 2. Incorooratina Police Department Pay Plan
There is hereby incorporated by reference the current version of the Bel Aire Police
Department document entitled the "Bel Aire Police Department Pay Plan". No fewer than
three (3) copies of said Bel Aire Police Department Pay Plan shall be marked "Official
Copy as adopted by Resolution No. If '~?'()3 as authorized by Ordinance No. 3/-.5 ,"
to which shall be attached a copy of said Resolution and this Ordinance, and filed with the
City Clerk to be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours.
Section 3. Repeal
Ordinance Number ;J. '1/ is hereby repealed.
Section 4. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
official city newspaper.
