RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING REQUESTS
FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR SPECIAL ENVIRONMENTAL
COUNSEL INCLUDING LITIGATION
WHEREAS, in November 2012 the Borough issued a Request for Proposals
( "RFP ") soliciting responses for the provision of professional services for Special
Environmental Counsel including litigation; and
WHEREAS, the RFP's were solicited pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance
with the provisions of N.1.S.A. 19:44a -20.5; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Clerk's Office has on file the submitted response to the
RFP; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has the responses submitted and is desirous of accepting
and /or approving the responses to the RFP's from the attached list of professional
service entities for the professional services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
I. That these professional service entities which are on file in the
Clerk's Office are hereby approved to provide the respective
professional services.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(l)(a).
3. That this award is pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance
with the provisions of N.1.S.A. 19:44A -20.5.
Adopted this 6' day of December, 2012
and certified as a true copy of the original
on December 7, 2012.
