SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The contracted commercial realty company, Collier’s Paragon LLC, has listed the golf course restaurant
facility and provided informational flyers to more than forty-five potential interested parties within the
region. Staff will work with Collier’s over the course of the next month or so to collect proposals from
interested parties. At the culmination of this process of collecting proposals, a recommendation committee
will be utilized to review proposals and provide a recommendation of selection to the City Council.
Tentative committee members for this process include a Golf Advisory Committee member, Allan
Morrison, Eric McCormick, Nate Coyle, Linda Stokes, a representative from Collier’s Paragon LLC, and a
liaison from the City Council.
The intent of this agenda bill is to request a City Council member to serve on this committee. The anticipated
time commitment includes sufficient time (prior to meetings) to review proposals and a series of two to
three meetings to discuss proposals and provide a recommendation to the City Council. It is anticipated that
the committee will execute its work in late summer to prepare for the 1 October target date for establishment
of a lease with an interested party.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint a City Council liaison to serve on the Golf Course Restaurant Recommendation Committee.
