AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH BEACON PLAIN'NING v& CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC
FOR VARIOUS PLAIwi ING/ENGINEERING PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized planning /engineering
services in connection with various projects in the Borough; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, Colts Towne Plaza, Suite
207, 41 State Highway 34 South, Colts Neck, New Jersey 07722, possesses the requisite
experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, has submitted a proposal to
provide said services at a total cost not to exceed 57,000.00 and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Nfiddlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC for
planning/engineering services in regard to various projects in the Borough at a
total cost not to exceed 57,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:1 1- 5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's Fair
and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC.
