AN ORDINANCE REDUCING THE SPEED LIMIT WITHIN
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, PUTNAM COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle wishes to establish reduced speed limits upon certain of
its city streets for the health and safety of its citizens and traveling public.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
the speed limit on the following roads shall be reduced from 30 Miles Per Hour to 20 Miles Per
Hour:
I-Iillcrest Drive from Arlington Avenue to Shadowlawn Avenue
Crescent Drive from Hillcrest to its terminus
Meadow Drive from Hillcrest to Crescent Drive
Vale Street from Albin Pond Road to Crescent Drive
Crescent Court from Crescent Drive to its terminus
Locust Street from Seminary to Berry
Seminary Street from Bloomington to Wood
Anderson Street from Locust to Bloomington
• This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
PASSE ND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana this
day of 2002.
