SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The owner of Hangar 562, McCall Craftsman Homes, has a sale pending. The new lessee KACI WSC, LLC has requested a new lease.
The purchaser has been provided with a copy of the proposed lease, current Airport Rules and Regulations, and Airport Minimum Standards. The hangar owner owns a Cessna P210 which he
intends to store in this hangar. The annual lease rate is $.30 per square foot for a 1,512 sq. ft. footprint only leasehold ($453.60). The FY17 rent was $416.47.
This is a non-commercial hangar and as such was not required to meet the Airport Advisory Committee.
The City Clerk will record the document, and keep a copy for the City’s records. We have requested a $200 transaction fee as a part of this process. The Lease is attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve termination of the existing lease of Hangar 562 from McCall Craftsman Homes at the time of closing and subsequently approve the new lease for Hangar 562 to KACI WSC, LLC, and
authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
