The applicant qualifies for PTR (Property Tax Relief) previously known as the Circuit Breaker. Approval of the hardship application would reduce the customer’s base water rate from $33.70 per month to $22.50 per month. The differential of $11.20 would be reimbursed from the General fund for the seven (7) period ending 04/30/2018; a total of $78.40 by crediting the customer’s account $11.20 per month. Attachments: Utility Hardship Policy 2017 Federal Poverty Guidelines Completed Hardship Relief Application Proof of Income in the form of a Social Security Benefit Statement Per MCC 6-4-250 “personal identifying information, including service location”, have been redacted. The full un-redacted file is available for Council review in the Treasurer’s office as of 11/02/2017.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Utility Hardship Relief Application.
