Idaho Code §34-1205 and §34-1206 state that the county board of commissioners shall be the county board of canvassers and the county clerk shall serve as their secretary for this purpose; and the board shall examine and make a statement of the total number of votes cast for all candidates or special questions that shall have been voted upon at the election. Attached is the Valley County Board of Commissioners canvass results of the November 7, 2017 General Election. Also attached is Resolution 17-22 which ratifies the County Commissioners canvass of the November 7, 2017 General Election.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution 17-22 ratifying the Valley County Commissioners canvass of the November 7, 2017 General Election, authorize the issuance of Certificates of Election at the first meeting in January, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
