Airport      Library    TIMELINE: December 31, 2017 Information Systems      Grant Coordinator    SUMMARY STATEMENT: Renewal of Mile High Marina’s ten year land lease agreement with the City of McCall has come due. The current Lease is as follows: The West boundary of lakeshore Boulevard, being the high water mark of Big Payette Lake between the extension of the North boundary line of lot 5, block 4, McCall, first addition to the Village of McCall, Idaho, as extended westerly to the high water mark of Big Payette Lake and the South boundary line of lot 1 of said block 4, extended westerly to the west boundary line of said Big Payette Lake (the “Leased Premises”). For informational purposes, the Leased Premises consists of improved and unimproved real property adjacent to lands leased by Lessee under a State of Idaho Department of Lands Lease (“Submerged Land Lease”) The 10 year lease extension to the original lease dated May 12, 2005 has minor changes to the previous 10 year extension dated December 31, 2007. Changes include the addition of Sections 3 and 4. Section 3 adds a provision for compliance with state and local laws, and Section 4 describes the verified report of gross receipts and a deadline for Lessee to submit such reports. Staff requests the Council to review the terms of the proposed extension. Both the current 2007 lease extension and draft extension are attached.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the ten year lease extension with Mile High Marina LLC and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.  RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION  MEETING DATE ACTION  November 9, 2017 Council reviewed and discussed the terms of the existing lease and directed staff to draft a new lease.
