SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the December 14, 2017 meeting, Council approved a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement with the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) process to make purchases. The golf course has
approved funding in its capital budget to purchase a new wide area rough mower. The Golf Superintendent sought out and received bids from two different vendors, John Deere and Toro.
The John Deere bid was $3,000 cheaper due to the John Deere bid being a part of the NJPA bid process.
Attached for the Council’s review is the quote summary to purchase a John Deere 9009A TerrainCut Rough Mower.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the purchase of the John Deere 9009A TerrainCut Rough Mower and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
