Information Systems      Grant Coordinator    SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Parks Department was budgeted under Capital Purchases an amount of $56,000 to purchase a new piece of equipment for increased winter and summer maintenance demands on the department. The equipment was also vetted through the CIP process and budgeted as a replacement for the John Deer tractor which is nearing its life expectancy and replacement schedule. A demo piece of equipment recently became available through RMT Equipment in Boise with approximately 50 hours and a full factory warranty. At this pricing it puts the purchase at $7,005.00 under budget. Approval of the attached RMT proposal will authorize RMT Equipment to commit the equipment and attachments until mid to late January for delivery.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the purchase of the Ventrac Tractor Equipment from RMT Equipment Company and authorize the Mayor to sign the RMT Proposal.  RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION  MEETING DATE ACTION
