SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The intent of this agenda bill is to present the outcome of the FY18 CIP Committee process for initial discussion with the City Council. This presentation will include the following
components:
A review of the FY18 CIP Committee process, led by Kurt Wolf, and recommendations from the committee provided to the City Manager.
Recommendations from the City Manager to the City Council.
Presentation of prioritized CIP along with options/considerations for funding CIP needs over the 5-year period.
Attached is the Prioritized 5-year CIP needs with supporting departmental worksheets, and the 2018 Operating Capital with supporting departmental worksheets. City staff will provide
documentation to show options for applications of funds during the presentation.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
For initial discussion and direction from the Council. Staff will be seeking specific direction regarding funding strategies, which will be presented, to achieve capital needs of the
City across the 5-year planning period.
