SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The owner of Hangar 211, Vincent P. Mancini Family Living Trust is in the process of selling to the Nicholas and Jacqueline Silicz Living Trust. Staff has prepared a new lease as the
existing lease is in its first extension.
The purchaser has been provided with a copy of the current lease, current Airport Rules and Regulations, and Airport Minimum Standards. The annual lease rate is $.30 per square foot
for a 18,000 sq. ft. leasehold $5400.00 in the initial year. The FY 2018 lease rate was $.162 for bare ground and $.323 for improvements totalling $4200.84 annually.
This is a Non-commercial hangar and as such was not required to meet the Airport Advisory Committee.
The City Clerk will record the document, and keep a copy for the City’s records. Staff has requested a $200 transaction fee as a part of this process. The lease is attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the lease of the Hangar 211 by Nicholas and Jacqueline Silicz Living Trust, terminate Vincent P. Mancini Family Living Trust’s interest in the lease at time of closing and authorize
the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
