SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Water Department has replaced its 13-year-old copier at the water treatment plant with a new Ricoh copier that is compatible with the City’s current communications platform and provides
the essential functionality necessary to support operations. As part of this purchase, the Department desires to enter into a 5-year maintenance agreement with Ricoh to ensure that
the new copier is properly maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The attached maintenance agreement is consistent and similar to other copier maintenance agreements that are in place for other copier equipment throughout the organization. This agreement
has been reviewed by legal counsel.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Ricoh maintenance agreement for a new copier at the Water Treatment Plant and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
