SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Parks & Recreation Department has chosen to replace its 10+ year old existing copier with a new Xerox Versalink Color Multifunction Printer/Copier that is compatible with the City’s
current communications platform and provides the essential functionality necessary to support operations. As part of this purchase, the Department desires to enter into a 5-year maintenance
agreement with Xerox and Boise Office Equipment to ensure that the new copier is properly maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The attached maintenance agreement is consistent and similar to other copier maintenance agreements that are in place for other copier equipment throughout the organization. This agreement
has been reviewed by legal counsel.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Xerox Versalink agreements for a new copier for the Parks & Recreation Department and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
