Notice of FY17 LOT Lardo Bridge Public Art project funding in the amount of $8,000 was issued in October 2017. These funds are typically required to be expended within one year of the date of funding notice. To date, $5,000 of the FY17 LOT funds have been expended, leaving a remaining balance of $3,000. Steel artist Susan Madacsi has been commissioned to create the public artwork for Lardo Bridge. In order to allow time for her to complete a community-engaged public art design process in keeping with the City’s public art policies and for fabrication and installation of the artwork, the McCall Public Art Advisory Committee is requesting approval to extend the FY17 LOT remaining funding of $3,000 for the project to September 30, 2019.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve funding extension of Local Option Tax application 17-36 for the Lardo Bridge Public Art project to September 30, 2019.
