SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Laurel Sayer, CEO of Midas Gold Idaho Inc., submitted the attached letter to Council responding to
questions/concerns raised at the July 26, 2018 and August 23, 2018 Council meetings. The letter includes a
request for the Council to appoint a Councilor and/or staff member to participate in a working group that is
drafting the Community Benefit Agreement.
Ms. Sayer also submitted a revised version of the Community Benefit Agreement summary which is
attached.
If the Council is interested in participating in the working group, it is recommended that both a Councilor
and the City Manager be designated to participate in the working group.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide direction to staff.
