CITY OF MEDINA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1000 OF
THE MEDINA CITY CODE RELATING TO SUNDAY
SALES OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:
Section 1000:05 is amended by adding the words which are
underlined and deleting the words which are indicated by strike
outs.
Subdivision 5. "Sunday sale" licenses shall be granted only
to hotels or restaurants as the same are defined in Minnesota
Statutes, Laws of 1967, Chapter 19, Section 1, which hotels or
restaurants have facilities for serving not less than 30 guests
at one time. Said "Sunday sale" licenses shall permit the sale
and consumption of intoxicating liquors on the licensed premises
only and between the hours of 121-89-mean 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 mid-
night on Sundays in conjunction with the serving of food, but no
liquor shall be served on Sundays other than to persons who are
seated at tables in those types of hotels or restaurants which
qualify for the "Sunday sale" license as hereinabove provided for.
SECTION II:
This ordinance becomes effective upon its adoption and pub-
lication.
