On January 11, 2018, Brian Hoffman from Lake Shore presented the current recycling market and proposed contract for a curbside recycling program. Council did not take action and asked that the Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) research the recycling issue further. The EAC will present the findings of their research to the City Council. The report includes options for the Council to consider. They will not be making a recommendation, but rather a list of choices, complete with background research from surrounding communities and pros and cons to each. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Information only- not action necessary.
