HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 0492ORDINANCE NO. 492 .. z AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 OF ORDINANCE N0. 419 OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD. The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as follows: Section 1: That Section 13 of Ordinance No. 419 be amended to read as follows: "Section 13: The Grantee shall file a bond running to said City of Lynwood with at least two good and sufficient sureties, to be approved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, in the penal sum of Fifty (50.00) Dollars, conditioned that the Grantee shall well and truly observe, fulfill and perform each and every term and condition of this franchise, and that in ease of any breach or condition of such bond, the whole amount of the penal sum therein named shall be taken and deemed to be liquidated damages and shall be recoverable from the principal and sureties upon said bond. Said bond shall be filed with the City Council of the City of Lynwood .before the effective date of this ordinance." Section 2: Except as herein expressly provided, all the terms, conditions, and provisions of said franchise as contained in Ordinance No. 419 of the City of Lynwood, remain in full force and effect. r Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, and cause the same to be published once in the Lynwood Press within fifteen (15) days after its passage, and it shall take effect thirty (30) days after its final passage.
