HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 0495r ORDINANCE NO. 495 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 465 OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, PER- TAINING TO THE ESTABLISHAiENT OF RULES AND REGU- LATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL WIRING AND OTHER MATTERS. The City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as follows: Section 1: Section 6 of said Ordinance No. 465 is amended by adding a nets* subsection thereto designated Subsection 3, to read as follows: "Section 6. Subsection 3. Business License Required. The Building Official shall in no case issue to any person, firm, or cor- poration (except to one qualifying as an owner under Subsection 2 of this section) any permit or license required by this ordinance for in- stallation of wiring or fixtures until such person, firm, or corpora- tion shall have secured a business license as required by the ordinances of the City of Lynwood, and it shall be unlawful for any such person, firm, or corporation (except such owner) to make any such installation before obtaining a business license as herein required." Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,.published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
