OF TAXES BY AND FOR THE USE OF MUNICIPAL COR-
PORATIONS," ETC., APPROVED PARCH 27th, 1895,
AND KENDMENTS THERETO, AND PROVIDING POR ASSESS-
MENT AND COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR SAID CITY OF
LYN;dOOD BY THE COUNTY ASSESSOR AND COUNTY TAX
COLLECTOR OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
The Board of Trustees of -the City of Lynwood do ordain
Section 1: The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood
hereby elect to avail itself of the provisions of an act of the
legislature of the State of California, entitled, "An Act to provide
for the levy and collection of taxes by and for the use of municipal
corporations and cities incorporated under the laws of the State of
California, except municipal corporations of the first class, and to
provide for the consolidation and abolition of certain municipal
offices, and to provide that their duties may byperformed by certai
officers of the county, and fixing the compensak on to be allowed
for such county officers for the services so rendered to such_munic-
ipal corporations,t approved March 27th, 1895, and amendments there-
to; and hereafter all assessments shall be made, and taxes collected
by the County Assessor and County Tax Collector of Los Angeles
County for said City of Lynwood until said City of Lynwood shall,
by ordinance, elect not to avail itself of the provisions of said
Act fox any longer time.

CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ELECTING TO AVAIL
ITSELF OF TEE PROVISIONS OF AN AC OF THE LE&
ISLATURE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ENTITLED
"AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION
1 Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
2 of this Ordinance and its approval by the President of said Board,
3
and there being no newspaper of general,circulation published and
4 circulated in said City, he shall cause the same to be printed and
5 posted in three public places in said City of Lynwood, to -wit:
6 One copy upon the bulletin board at the entrance to'the
7 office of the Board of Trustees of said City at 205 West Mulford
8 Avenue,
9 One copy upon the bulletin board at the Pacific Electric
` 10 Railway Station known as Lynwood Station, at the intersection of
11 Long Beach Boulevard and Fernwood Avenue in said City, and
12 One copy upon the bulletin board at the northwest corner

of Iblulford Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard in said City, and there -
