Section 1: The City oi' Lynwooa noes nereoy grunt, Lo L-uu
Electric Railway CoinpanlT, a corporation, t'he'right, franchise and privilege
4. of using that certain strip of land, eight feet wide, extending from Sanborn
Avenue. to Fernwocd Avenue, and, being the easterly eight feet St.,
between said Avenues named above, for railway purposes, including the right
,-to entera.nd pass over said parcel of land with teams and`.trucks for the
,t loading. . and i:,nloa3_ng of 'freight to and from the railway cars "of said Pacific
Electric Railway Company on its spur track east of said strip of land.
The above rant is made with the express understanding and con
dition that the said lailway company shall, without delay and at its-own
cost and expense, construct and maintain said eight feet.of Chester Street
with macadam pavement of a quality equal to that with which the •balance of
Chester Street is paved now °or hereafter; such maintenance of said eight feet
to" continue as long'as the railway company has a spur .track,, or tracks, on
its right- of- way"adi'aeent to Chester Street, as above'indicated. This grant
^.i shall terminate: when the said railway c®mpany, or its st:ccessors, shall aban-
aon or cease to operate, Said spur tracX.
Section:2: The, Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
_r + ` Ordinance, and its approval by the President' of the Board "of Trustees; - 'and
e cause,,the same to be- published once in The Lynwo d Tribune.
